Take the Challenge
Our friend Colton who is 11 yrs. old and volunteers at our shelter heard about the recent $500,000 Scheels Grant Match that Scheels said they would give to our Capital Campaign Mission 2.0 IF we could raise $500,000 by December 15, 2017.

Colton decided on his own that he could help with this and has pledged $500 to go towards the Scheels Match Grant.  He believes there are many people who care about those that are hurting and homeless in our community and that if he can help so can you.   Colton is challenging you to meet or exceed his donation. #ColtonCares. #RealChange.

Transformation

The number of people who need our support has grown exponentially over the years, and their struggles have become increasingly complex. To achieve lasting impacts for people and our communities, we need to address intertwined issues at deeper levels.
To do it, we need to enhance the New Life Center facilities and programs.

The Challenge

Facility is nearly 50 years old

100% increase in demand over the past six years

Program advancement is hindered by lack of space and facility configuration

Desperate need for medical respite care for homeless

$4.3 Million Campaign Goal

$2.1 Million raised thru July 17
$500,000 Scheels Match Grant
$1.7 Million Left to Raise

Today through December 15, 2017 any gift or pledge (through 2019) to the Mission 2.0 Capital Campaign will be matched.

What an amazing gift from our neighbors at the Scheels Foundation, the 45th Street Fargo Store, and associates of Scheels. Our friends at Scheels have stepped up in a BIG way.
