This position is a key part of a team that supports individuals receiving support for chemical dependency, mental health, and offender rehabilitation. Due to program demographics, only male candidates will be considered for this role. Students in criminal justice, sociology, social work or related field are encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the Genesis Program and physical building during evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Major components of the role consist of Christian discipleship, faith-based recovery programming, guest oversight, coordination of guest care with case management staff, security and safety of guests, visitors and other staff, building maintenance and sanitation, and volunteer management.

Major components of the role consist of guest intake, security and safety of guests, visitors and other staff, physical building operation and safety, and occasional volunteer management.

Reporting to the Thrift Store Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. This will be accomplished by providing a warm welcome to the store, maintaining a clean, well-organized and stocked sales floor, fast, friendly and accurate processing of purchases, and assisting in other areas of the store and warehouse as needed. The thrift store sales associate / sorter will be cross-trained in all areas of the production and retail environment to include, but not limited to: providing excellent customer service, cash-handling procedures, and processing donated goods (sorting, pricing and stocking).
Primary responsibility is to provide direct case management, housing support and spiritual care for guests at New Life Center. Key elements of this position involve case management services that lower housing barriers, assistance in securing housing, collaboration with supportive services in the community, relationship building, support and accountability for guests, and helping individuals to a place of self-sufficiency. Salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 depending on work experience and education.
