The role of the Recovery Services Chaplain is to encourage spiritual growth through personal and communal ministry to the guests of New Life Center's Genesis Recovery Program. Chaplains lead devotions and chapel services, as well as teach classes, counsel, coach, and collaborate with other ministries to promote spiritual growth opportunities. The Chaplain works with the Program Director to ensure spiritual services at New Life Center are in line with the mission and values of the organization. Meals provided.
The Thrift Store Manager is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of thrift store operations from processing donations, sorting, pricing, and tagging to the final sale. The manager supervises and directs the sales associates, and the sorting and pricing team. This individual partners with the warehouse supervisor to facilitate flow of product from receiving to salesfloor as well as managing other logistic challenges. This position is responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers at our South Fargo store. This will be accomplished by providing a warm welcome to the store, maintaining a clean, well-organized and stocked sales floor, fast, friendly and accurate processing of purchases, and assisting in other areas of the store and warehouse as needed. The thrift store sales associate / sorter will be cross-trained in all areas of the production and retail environment to include, but not limited to: excellent customer service, cash-handling, and processing donated goods (sorting, pricing and stocking). Starting wage is $14 per hour.

This position is a key part of a team that supports individuals receiving care for chemical dependency, mental health, and offender rehabilitation. Students in criminal justice, sociology, social work or related field are encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the Genesis Recovery Program during evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Major components of the role consist of Christian discipleship; faith-based recovery programming; guest oversight; coordination of guest care with case management staff; security and safety of guests, visitors and other staff; building maintenance and sanitation; and occasional volunteer management. Meals provided.

Starting wage is $17/hr with up to a $1,000 bonus after six months of employment for full-time team member, $500 for part-time team member.
